okay, so i think i've watched more tv this week than i have the last 6 months combined. unfortunately, i found a show i really like. and it's a reality show. the name of the show is "who wants to be a superhero?" anybody else seen it? it is hilarious. i seriously don't remember ever laughing so hard watching tv. the concept of the show is this: potential contestants had to create a superhero for themselves, come up their own unique powers and storyline, and make their own costumes. their ideas were submitted to the scifi network, and stan lee (yes, the stan lee, creator of spiderman) picked the top contestants for the show. the show is a pretty standard survivor-esque reality show. they have a challenge every show and one person gets eliminated. the whole thing is just utterly ridiculous - watching grown adults walking around in spandex pretending to be superheros. it almost seems like a parody of other reality shows (although the contestants seem to be taking it rather seriously; a little too seriously). the winning prize is pretty cool - the winner gets his/her own comic book series that stan lee will write, and also an actual movie made for the scifi channel. i really can't describe how funny this show is. just watch it.
