happiness is a sad story

I am on vacation for the next week. I will be spending most of it in Nashville, chilling. I'm so worn out from work right now, even the thought of going out of town for more than a couple of days makes me cringe. I just want to relax. Anyone know of a good place to get a massage?

I'm trying to decide what book to spend the week with. I want something sad, not too long, and a fairly easy read (I've been reading Moby Dick, and I need a break). And when I say sad, I don't necessarily mean utterly depressing, like say Blindness by Jose Saramago (which is good, but very bleak). Something that is beautifully sad, like Dostoevsky, Graham Green, or Goethe. Anyone have any suggestions?
