Today~
Today was pretty fun ^^ And I had to use absolutely no public transportation which was extremely nice!
Although, last night I wasn't able to fall asleep until 3AM, and I had to get up at 7AM so I was a little bit sleepy and clumsy all day long.
By the way, has anyone seen the ads for Chia Obama :'D Who came up with that?
Once we left we first went to the Asian marketplace, and I got my friend the cutest pencil pouch ever, a nice pen, and two boxes of pocky for her birthday. After that, I was dropped off at my friends house. I was the first one there, and my friend wasn't even there at all because she was picking people up xD Her grandmother greeted me, and was super nice though. It didn't take too long for others to show up.
Before I forget to add this in, I am incredibly excited! Sonata Arctica is coming back in September, so I really wanna go see them again <3
We all talked for a while, and played rock band :'D My friend is so amazing at singing Sabotage... It's unbelievable. And Shinji caught it all on camera. It was so funny. Basically screeches for that song earned him a 100%, whereas the other players were too distracted to get so high of a percentage.
Shortly after, we headed over to some arcade place with laser tag, and played three games of it, which was a lot more fun than I had anticipated, even though the room was incredibly hot. It was two storied, with lots of blocking places and hideouts!
1. The first game I was on the same team as Shinji... (I don't really think I should include everyone else's real names D: Shinji's just a nickname, so it's oki). The laser tag armor pack things come with names depending on the color. Yellow team were transformers, red was GI Joe's I think, and Blue was Harry Potter characters. I was in the transformers group the first time so I chose to be Megatron >3 Shinji was Demolisher, and my other friends were Starscream and Optimus Prime! So Intense... Anyways... I basically failed at that game, and came in last. Shinji was in second though!
2. The second game was free for all, so everyone was against each other. We were all Transformers (I was Megatron again), and a man and his two sons joined us for that round. I spent the whole time 'camping' in this hidden corner, hitting people who walked by. There are ALWAYS vulnerable points though so I still got hit a lot D: But... I hit 44 people, and got hit 45 times! Fufufu... And that round I only got third to last! One of the little kids who joined that round won.
3. The last round, we were divided into 2 groups (I was only chose second to last!). I ended up in the Harry Potter group, so I chose to be Voldemort >3 fufufu... Before we all left for the game though, I tried to jump off this giant stair/platform, to get down from the sitting area, and when I landed, my knees buckled, and I completely fell forward off the other platform :'D It scraped up my knees and ankles (somehow o.o), One of my friends came over to make sure I was alright, but started ranting about how it's bad for your skin and something about breaking bones in Twilight :'D... I was just cracking up at how smooth I was. It was a seriously lame fall... And it didn't get much better from there D: During the game, I lifted my own gun and hit myself in the eye with it. So graceful... .___. Anyways, only got second to last that time, so I was pretty impressed with myself.
Me and Shinji got in a quick game of race cars! I was AWFUL. Seriously awful. I couldn't drive in a straight line v.v;;
We drove back to my friend's house, and she opened presents. It was fun to watched her open the present Shinji got her (a homemade Dracula plushie)... She was so happy x3 Shinji's so good at making plushies! After presents, Shinji had to leave for driver's ed with her psycho instructor v.v... And we all gathered around a table to play Risk. There were too many people, so I decided to just watch, which is far more interesting than it sounds. I was laughing a majority of the time. There's no way to explain it all... :'3
We had cake, and stuff... It was awesome cake xD. I think her grandmother made it. It had like... pennies, dimes, and safety pins wrapped in tin foil stuck in the cake bread! I didn't have any in my piece of cake, but her grandma went and found one from some other piece and gave it to me... It was really sweet.
We actually played/watched Risk for several hours, and my friend's dad offered to drive me home at 10:30. It was really nice of him >.< Especially since the bus stop I was gonna go to is apparently not a good area, and probably a 30-40 minutes walk from her house.
So~ All went well. I need to memorize my address, but I think it's starting to stick a little better : P Tomorrow I'm probably gonna watch The Outsiders with my brother o.o It's been so long since I've seen that movie or read the book... 7th grade! I liked it though, even if a lot of people said they didn't D:
I've been thinking of possibilities for what I may draw in my art book tomorrow (if I actually manage to find inspiration). I'm really sleepy though right now, so I'm gonna go!
