So I have recently became a HUGE fan of Kirk/Spock slash fic/everything, and it has inspired me to make a list of my top however-many slash OTPs and explain, in my own words, why I love them so effing much. I will start today with....
1. Kirk/Spock
I love these guys because they are like, THE ORIGINAL OTP, and because it just keeps getting so much better. I personally prefer the new movie because it disturbs me just a little to see William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy going at it because I respect them, like, and I don't really want that imagery in my head. Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto, however, may feel free to do whatever they please.
Also, I LOVE fic that incorporates Spock's use of the word t'hy'la because i think it's just adorable.
More to come, when I feel more motivated to actually write anything. Right now I'm looking around LJ for this thing I saw earlier today that was an animated thing from the movie of Chekov running through the hallway because I HAVE TO HAVE IT, it was adorable.
EDIT: this obviously failed. look for more in the future though.
