i have no insurance. by going to the dentist today im now 653 bucks in debt. fucking shit.
good news is that im still alive, and my teeth are healthy, i just have periodontal disease. meaning my gums are rotten away to a point where im losing bone mass in my jaw. whoopee!
ive been thinking about starting a blog somewhere. i guess i could do it here, but who would read it? dont take offense, i mean i want to start a public blog with some kind of an audience. its gonna be about impoverished young daddy-hood. first entry:
brooke got welfare today! and here i am watching google videos documentary on anarchism. its hard to know what you believe these days, i believe what the internet tells me to believe. i mean to say, i believe whatever, whenever. maybe, if we save, little ari can go to a school thats worth attending, one that believes in student driven education and personal responsibility. let me repeat, welfare rocks! especially when you need 653 dollars worth of dental work to save your mouth from the effects of irresponsibilty. god dammit, i have a lot to work on.

"press enter" by john varley, a short story i read in "annual worlds best scifi 1985". its hilariously outdated in its descriptions of computer networks and the power of a brilliant hacker. at one point it describes a then very scifi idea of "interfacing", whereby two hackers can actually talk to one another through computer networks across the country! astounding!
