Passing time before work...
I've realized my bad habit is starting a blog and then kind of forgetting it exists for a while. >.> I'm sure it'll be easier/more convient when I get the interwebs turned on for my phone.
Well...let's see...we bought a house (pics soon; it's so pretty!) so I've been busy with that. It's an adorable little townhome, two story three bedroom. I love it to pieces.
I also finally have the date for my surgery. April 7th huzzah! I worry though (as vain as it might sound), that it will affect the tone of my voice. I kinda need that to work ;.;
Speaking of work, Day Job is going well. I need to thank Mike the next time I see him for not schedualing me for the midnight release party for New Moon. I might have either offended a customer or gotten fired.
Cygnus Industries is coming along quite well, though some of it is on a bit of a hold with Kuroi kidnapping both Alkerias (my programmer/music composition person) and Canada (who would be a voice actress and is also the best friend of my artist). Curses! Well, I can't say much because I still don't have the script done. I'm such a bad person. I really need to get note cards and figure out the whole web of events that I ended up spinning. As well as getting the rest of the stuff pulled together.
Yay money; I should really file my taxes soon so I (hopefully) have some. Great problem about that is I should have four tax forms (three W-2s and an independent contractor's form). The number that has arrived? One. So, I need to contact two of the places and go see the IRS about the other (as the business shut down) I'm sure that one of the places is holding it out of spite but damnit, I kinda need it! Pride be damned!
Back onto Cygnus Industries. We're planning on having our official debut and release for our first game at Otakumex this year. I'm kind of looking forward to seeing Ghost finished and released the public; it's going to be exciting.
I've also finally decided to dip my toes into the Hetalia fandom. It's been a long time since I've participated in a fandom; I'm really hoping this one isn't batshit insane like the last one. Especially because this one is such a united fanbase...from what I've seen, there's no elitism, no wankiness (well, not enough to land it on F_W, other than that one mishap with Stephen Colbert)...I hope that doesn't change when Hetalia makes it's debut stateside.
Hmmm...I'm also wanting to get some Cosplay done. Good cosplay too, not the half-assed ones I've been doing. My list consists of China from Hetalia, Deneve from Claymore and Sailor Neptune from Sailor Moon.
I'm really excited for this year in general. Concerts, conventions, lots of work, lots of exciting things...It's going to be a good year.
