Poland essay will be up tomorrow lol; I'm too spazzy right now to sit down and type out all my thoughts.
So I did memes instead~
Stole it from
deadtree Because I really do love her.
1. Do you snack while you read? If so, favorite reading snack?
Strangely, it's apples. Not cut or anything. Just washed and eaten :3
2. What is your favorite drink while reading?
Some kind of fragrant hot tea; most of the time it's often mint.
3. Do you tend to mark your books as you read, or does the idea of writing in books horrify you?
Oh the idea HORRIFIES me. Doing anything to a book horrifies me (except the Twilight books. That's ok). I nearly bit my boyfriend's head off for asking me to get him one of my free books from work because they have to tear off the cover.
4. How do you keep your place while reading a book? Bookmark? Dog-ear? Laying the book flat open?
*shrugs* I mark my place with a scrap of paper, most often the receipt that came with the book. Always at the end of a page as well.
5. Fiction, Non-Fiction, or Both?
Love both; depends on what I'm wanting to read at the time.
6. Are you a person who tends to read to the end of a chapter, or can you stop anywhere?
I can stop anywhere; I just like to read to the end of a chapter.
7. Are you a person to throw a book across the room or on the floor if the author irritates you?
Like no other >:(
8. If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop and look it up right away?
Nah...I try to figure it out by reading the other words around it or I note it for later.
9. What are you currently reading?
Europe: A History - My huge ass history book of ALL of Europe.
The Similarion by JRR Tolkien - AKA: The Bible, Middle-Earth version. And for some reason, I CAN'T STOP REREADING IT.
The Wizard's First Rule by Terry Goodkind - Because the book is SO much better than the TV series.
Pride, Prejudice and Zombies by Seth Grahame-Smith - How Jane Austin's works should have been written :D
10. What is the last book you bought?
The big ass history book
11. Are you a person that reads one book at a time, or can you read more than one?
I love to read more than one; I often have at least four going on at the same time.
12. Do you have a favorite time/place to read?
Either in the bath or in the library.
13. Do you prefer series books or stand-alones?
I like both personally; it just really depends on WHAT it is.
14. Is there a specific book or author you find yourself recommending over and over?
JRR Tolkien. My hero. READ EVERYTHING.
15. How do you organize your books? By genre, title, author's last name, etc?
Organized as followed in our library:
Genre
Author's last name
Series (if applicable)
Title
Date Published (if there are multiple copies)
29. Character you’d want personified into a cat
He basically already IS a cat. And a cute one at that so he's my first choice. Japan would be second and Switzerland third.
30. Character you’d want to cosplay as
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh God...
Of course, I would cosplay Poland. There's already video of me running around as a casual!Poland. Besides him though, my plans also include...
China
Denmark
Sweden
Greece
Vietnam
Norway
Turkey
Canada
N.Italy
Japan
America
England
Switzerland
...
The list goes forever on...
