Deer hallucinations

Monday already, huh? Weird.

I went to contact improv again yesterday and had a really amazing time. Then in the evening I went to the boogie at the Majestic. I wasn't planning on going, but everyone else was going. It was really huge, tickets cost $12. The theme was "through the ages" but most everyone just wore crazy clothes that didn't have much to do with the theme (or everyone has a really crazy perception of what the fashions of the future are going to be) I kind of tried to go 80's but I sort of ended up wearing a bunch of colorful things and picking up a lot of extra things from other people costumes. I wore athletic shorts over tights but also ended up wearing Jordan's see through genie pants over those for awhile. They looked kind of ridiculous, but in a good way. I also had a headband on and the rest of my hair was extremely spiky because I put more gel in it than I ever do. I also wore a bunch of flowers left over from Zoie's costume in my hair, too. Everyone but Zac and I did mushrooms before going. Well anyway it was a lot of fun. There were multiple floors of dancing. One of the floors was like a rave and the other was bigger and more open. Yogoman Burning Band played, which is always fun and for an hour or so there was even square dancing, which was extremely fun. I came in late so I didn't do the first dance they were teaching, but then I joined in on the next one and one of the volunteers ran and grabbed a random guy as my partner. The guy turned out to be really nice. We danced all the dances together, which turned out to be extremely fun. After that it was almost 2am and I was exhausted. Me and the guy who was my dance partner sat and talked for awhile, and then he walked me to Pine street to get my car. He was really nice. I drove him around a bit. He was from Seattle and hadn't really seen Bellingham. There wasn't much to see at night, but I showed him a really nice view of the water.

I slept in really late today and kind of woke up feeling like crap. My group for Scot's class met today to work on our awesome project for the ethnographic performance. We had this really cool idea to paint our bodies with branches and roots and collage the pictures together to make a tree. Taking the pictures and painting each others bodies was incredibly fun. There was just a strong powerful female energy. Our group meetings had mostly been about positive body images, and it was really cool for us to do something like this together. I'm working on photoshopping the tree together.

After that Zac and I had to rush to Pine street to get to the meeting about the new house. I realized then that i had a really bad headache, and I had had it all day, but it was really starting to get bad. It ended up getting mind-numbingly bad. By the time I got us to Pine street I could hardly function. I stayed for some of the meeting, but couldn't stay for all of it. I not only had a headache but I was super uncomfortable with all the paint still on my body under my clothes. I think people basically decided that we wanted to move in ASAP which is fine with me. When driving home I was feeling terrible and not even sure I could make it without throwing up. I was in such a hurry. I ended up seeing an entire family of 5 or 6 deer on the lawn of one of the apartments and as I drove by they all ran into the road after me. It was the oddest thing and I kind of thought I just hallucinated the entire thing I was in such a daze. When I got home I felt well enough to hop into the bath and scrub off some of the paint. It was a paint mixture of flower, water and acrylic paint. It came off fairly easily, there are still bits of it stuck to me. When I got out I felt sick again and ended up throwing up and then going to sleep. I left all the paint in the tub, too. My roommates probably loved that. I was planning to be all responsible tonight and work on my evaluations but I only regained consciousness at 10:30 and then all I wanted was food because I vomited everything that I had eaten today up, which wasn't much int he first place. I guess I'll have a busy day tomorrow. I still have to finish the tree.
