Jordan the magical wizard (and other Jordans)
I took a nap after I got back from class this afternoon and I had a crazy dream. I was in this weird house with Beccy's mom and a few other people (Beccy's mom may have been my mom, or maybe I was just staying with her... I don't know) and there was a light switch in my bedroom that would turn on Jordan (like... the Jordan who lives on Pine Street and wears feminine clothes, I don't know if anyone reading besides Esme knows him) who was a magical wizard. When I flipped the switch Jordan would appear in thin air. I don't remember what the dream was really about, but once when I tried to turn Jordan on he didn't show up and apparently he had gone off to cook with/flirt with Beccy's mom and some of her friends. He was extremely flamboyant in the dream, much more so than he is in real life.
When I woke up it took me awhile to realize that Jordan was actually someone I knew in real life, like someone who wasn't a magical wizard you could turn on with a light switch. It was extremely bizarre.
I know I had more to write about than that but I can't remember. Maybe I'll add on to this entry later.
Later: So hey, apparently Jordan Rain (of the previous entry, the guy I gave a backrub to who is 33 and recently married and etc. He is Jordan Rain aka Yogoman of Yogoman Burning band. WHAT? I gave a back rub to Yogoman? Yogoman gave me a back rub? I hugged Yogoman...
I saw his name when I was sitting in the VU working on my project with Chris on the events calender. He is playing a set tomorrow in the underground Coffeehouse, this lead me to search the WWU website to see when it was, and this informed me he was yogoman. Woah, weird.
So I don't think i am going to take the optional Psych test tomorrow. I mean, it wouldn't hurt me to take it, but the only way it would help me would be to get a B+ or higher, preferably an A and people don't generally tend to get As by startting to study at 10:06 the night before a test. I think it would really just do me a lot of good to get some sleep. Then I won't need to take naps in the middle of the day and I won't be so distracted by dreams about friends of mine being magical wizards who are operated by light switches.
