[It isn't that he's just noticed that a certain someone is missing, but he was sort of hoping that she'd turn up of her own accord before long. What bothers me is that she doesn't remember being through one of these things anymore. It might... she'll be scared. And on her own. It isn't fair.

I understand. It can be difficult when someone close to you doesn't remember... even if it's expected in a place like this. You just have to be there for her when she gets back.
