It's bad enough I have to spend Christmas in this weird place where people spend weeks at a time being, I don't know... girls when they should be guys or kids when they should be old or whatever. But if I find the funny twit that pelted me in the back of the head with a snowball and didn't even have the nerve to come out in the open and get it

[Hey man, if there's a snowball fight to be had, Harry's coming outside to back up his bff. Thankfully, he's back to his old self. He's bundled up but wandering out of the house in a good mood. And no, he doesn't have snow on his gloves. Yet.]

It's just snow, Ron.

[Ron glares up at him, gesturing one gloved hand to the back of his head.]

When snow's packed up hard enough to knock me for a loop, it's more than just snow; it's war.

[cruxofapotter]

[Point well made. Harry's going to join him up in that tree.]

Well then, do we know who we're fighting yet?

[sacrificemyself]

No, I-....

[Here, have a suspicious glare.]

Lemme see your gloves.

[cruxofapotter]

[Got my hands up, they're playing my- okay no. Harry holds up his hands, which have a bit of snow on them. It could've come from climbing a snowy branch or from handling some snow.]

What?

[sacrificemyself]

[Ron scowls, trying to decide if there's enough snow there to be indicative of the snowball that hit him.]

Just trying to figure out if I need to call traitor before there's an uprising.

[cruxofapotter]

I'm your primary suspect?

[sacrificemyself]

[He makes a face.] Please, Harry. If that were the case, you'd be half-frozen by now, don't you think? I'm just keeping my options open.

[cruxofapotter]

[Harry gives him a look. He's debating whether or not to start a snowball fight just to relieve the tension, but it seems like Ron might be to angry to let it go.] You're pretty angry about all this. What's going on?

[sacrificemyself]

[Ron looks genuinely confused by the statement. He's been on edge because of all of the weird events lately, but that's got nothing to do with this.] Nothing. It hurt like hell, is all, and I wanna make sure that whoever thinks it's funny to go around doing that gets to see what it's like on the other end.

[cruxofapotter]

I know about the snowball. [Trying to stay cool. Well, collected, as the weather is pretty cool already.] You just seem really tense about everything, is all.

[sacrificemyself]

[Ron's quiet for a moment, just blinking at Harry in silence. Then he turns around, looking out for other passerby.] Well, maybe you're just imagining things.

[cruxofapotter]

Maybe I am. [Alright, since he's turned around, Harry's going to make a snowball. Not as hard or as big as the one that hit Ron before, but enough to make a good splat. Have a snowball at your shoulder, Ron! Let's see if this turns into an argument or a snowball fight.]

[sacrificemyself]

[Ron immediately whirls around, looking from Harry to the snow still on his shoulder and back again. His first instinct is to use his wand, but he's not going to raise a wand against Harry; that's never been his way, even when things got ugly between them.]

Oh, and I suppose this is my imagination?

[cruxofapotter]

[Harry shrugs. The spell might suck, but he's got his own wand stashed in his jacket for a warming charm. But a little snow? A lot of snow? He doesn't care if he gets hit with that.]

No, I threw that one.

And here I'd've thought you'd have the stones to get me when my back wasn't turned.

[You're so going to get yourself hit with a whole lot of snow, Harry, if Ron doesn't get defused soon.]
