back and busy, or musicals at con (meant to be screamed like "Khan!"
I'm finally back home in Ann Arbor after 3 months with my family in Long Island. Not all of it was dull, among other things I got to go to a conference on intersex issues which Iwill post on soon--a month afterward but my thoughts have been a bit unclear as to what I thought about the con as a whole....)
and I'm also currently busy as can be getting musicals together. Next month I'll be putting on shadowcast performances of Rocky Horror and the Buffy musical at Penguicon (if you haven't heard of it yet it's half science fiction con and half Linux fair). I finally have a cast together, though still have to get 3 minions for Buffy, and we’re starting to rehearse-it’s just that with a month left to go and having just gotten everything together I’m more than a bit stressed, and will be until both musicals have been accomplished, though I think it’ll work…and I’ll likely forget what it took to get em done and jump at the chance to do em again next year :)
