Note To Self

If you're anything like me, you walk through your daily lives, looking at stuff and say "Hmm, I would really like that for a birthday/Christmas/graduation gift." Because lets face it, I'm too poor to buy things for myself. But when said holiday comes around and people actually start asking you what you might want, you blank. So, in light of this sad reality, I've decided to post some gifts that I keep wanting and ultimately forget, and why I like them.

1. The Audio King James Bible as read by James Earl Jones ~ Granted I'm now more of a NIV fan, who wouldn't want James Earl Jones reading you the bible? Hearing the gospels from Mufasa? Listening to Darth Vader read Revelation? James Solomon giving you debreifs on King David?(C&C fans, anyone?). Of course it'd be more useful if I actually had some sort of portable audio device that was currently working to listen to it on.

2. The 5th Element ~ This is probably one of the most brilliant yet undiscovered sci-fi's of our time. Buzzy recently reminded me of it with her radical hair extravaganza and then I got to saw the second half of it on TV. Milla Jovovich is incredibly HAWT and Ruby Rhod probably the best role Chris Tucker ever played.

3. We Are Not Alone by Breaking Benjamin ~ I've been a huge fan of Breaking Benjamin for the longest time and it was a tough decision between this and Phobia...frankly I want both but if I had to choose.

4. Extended Life Battery for my laptop. I didn't link this because frankly I don't know if there is actually a good discount battery that's still compatable with my Toshiba Sattelite. I just know that when I go to med school the battery it came with will not be sufficient.
