we my friend, i guess on a basic level, you and I will have to agree to disagree. I do believe, as you put it that my "persona is basically your soul".
As I said in another response...
"When it comes to the "divine", imho, humans do not harbor the capacity to have this knowledge. if we could, then we would. the fact that we do not utilize our brain at it's fullest capacity, the fact that miracles happen regardless of religion, the basic fact that we are all different with regards to genetics, demographics, education, environment, etc... if there is an underlying "base divinity" to us all, something that connects cannibals on lost islands and high powers stock brokers... and we had the "grace" or "ability" to understand how this worked... we would.
I like to think that we do have a soul. While I am constantly evolving this opinion as my live goes on, I just don't think that the human race is ready for that level of understanding. But I do think it is a distinct possibility that we all do have some energy of the divine in us, and that this energy is never ending and always cycling. "
