this summer my friends and i decided to set up a tent city in campbell park because we were piss off that the city spent 28 million dollars JUST on beautification of the city for the canada game and still did nothing for the homeless crisis. just to note we are tied with the 2nd most homeless people per capita in canada. so we kinda thought we would be there for like a week, raise some awareness and then be off to work on a new mission. but all of a sudden here we were negotiating with the city . . blah blah blah we ended up getting a building, a warehouse which we reside in right now which was supposed to be 'temporary' till we found a new building. blah blah salvation army screws us over real bad all the time blah. we are getting 'evicted' at the end of this month and hopefully moving into a new building or . . back to the park. blah blah what we have going here is pretty much a supportive community. robots and zombies don*t usually like us. we have around 10 coordinators right now. . pretty much we hang out, do conflict resolution, break up fights, be supportive friends, we have a natural medicine center . . . . umm yeha so much more
