How does he/she dress? Traditional Bedouin or Muslim attire to cover features. She will sometimes go without her veil but it takes trust.
Speech patterns: She has a lisp due to an improperly formed tongue and the slight enlargement of canines. She can speak English fluently and understand Latin.
Disabilities: She has a lot of trouble walking. Due to her slow transformation to mortality her legs are that of a human but her ankle and foot configuration is the same as a gargoyle (think a dog’s leg.. yes this does mean her feet are still very dog like and have claws. She never wears shoes.) It makes it painful for her to walk long distances. She also has a limp to her walk as she tries to compensate for her awkward legs. Her eyes are sensitive to fast changes in light. Her wings are weak due to muscle deterioration/atrophy leaving her to only poor flying ability though she can still glide a considerable distance.

Health/abilities/condition: Sacred Eyes is slowly becoming mortal. She is changing from the traditional dog like characteristics of a church gargoyle to those of a mortal. The transformation is due to the loss of her Church is very difficult and often painful. The transformation will continue until she becomes completely mortal or she finds another building to protect. If she finds a building her condition will slowly return to that of a gargoyle.
She has a few of her abilities besides flight. She can fade into shadows if no one is looking directly at her. She is very deft at climbing, particularly stone work.
Due to her close connection to structures she can at times get a sense of places/buildings which a person is fond of or has emotional connection to. It is a feeling and not actual mind reading though when a person is actively thinking of the place she can at times get impressions of the place.
Peninnah has the ability to listen to stonework buildings, to learn information such as whom is inside, the history within the "sight" range of the building and other information pertaining to what is in the building.
She has the ability to form stone objects. Due to her decrease in power it is limited to small stone trinkets and statuary. She must have the stone available to work with. Doing this is very draining on her and she must rest after anything larger than a palm sized item.
Peninnah can create the effect of statuary "watching" those who walk by. It is not that the stone is actually moving but the illusion that it is keeping an eye on those who walk past. This is a very brief effect that only occurs for a brief second.
Peninnah has telepathic speaking abilities but rarely uses them. She believes that it is an invasion of privacy though with someone close who has agreed to it or in a dire situation she is comfortable with using it.

How the Character is Involved in the Story
Relationships with other characters:
The only relationship she had was with Father Christopher who cared for the church. The church Father was one of the few people to ever see her moving. After a time and a lot of trust she began to interact with him and he taught her to speak. Father Christopher passed away when St. James’ Church was bombed during World War II.
St. James Church.
Given her nature of connection to buildings the Church was a friend to her over the years since her creation. The inability to prevent the bombings and/or protect her church brings her as much grief as losing a child or sibling. The fact that England decided not to rebuild the church and keep it as a memorial to the lost both troubles and brings her joy. She sees it as a memorial to her loss of Father Christopher but at the same time without it being rebuilt she is without a place to care for.
