Twenty-Eighth Order

[Ky's voice is audibly shaking as he makes this recording.]

I just got...another note. It...it says...

"Luckily, the dead monsters will never, ever be brought back!"

[A faint sound of someone's knees hitting a rug is just barely audible.]

rika furude, tewi inaba, eirin yagokoro, kaguya houraisan, lilianne "hime", tifa lockheart, yuuka kazami

... This could be the town just messing with us. They want to punish you all for the trouble you caused them in the past.

[For now, Hime is only greeted by silence from the other end of the telephone.]

From what I heard, you seem to be the most noble of the people here. You must be taking these loses the hardest.

However, do you think crying about it will make it better? Why not discover who is leaving these messages. They are the true ringleaders behind these murders.

[Ky grabs the receiver this time.]

That...is what I've been trying to do the past few days.

Well, I see we have something in common then. While I have not received any notes, I have been trying to gather information about what is going on.

...Have you found anything of note?

The main thing is that it seems a number of the monsters were key players in the riots a few weeks ago.

...I see. I knew that Alfred was, at the very least.

My assumption is that the town wants us to punish those people. They seem to get a sick pleasure out of manipulating us.

...They do. I've known that for months.

So, are you just going to sit there and get upset, or accept that they want to screw with you, and ignore them.

If only it were that black-and-white.

Is it really not like that? You can ignore the Towns letters and protect those close to you.

Unfortunately, emotions can...sometimes have too much power. Fighting those emotions takes time.

One must learn not to be controlled by their emotions. That will lead to their downfall.

I've already learned that lesson. But the most powerful emotions still have an effect, no matter how much discipline one has.
