So someone was too careless and obvious with their resistance, and now they've confiscated all our food as retribution. Such acts are the calling mark of tyranny -- though, by this point, that is news to no one here.
I've dealt with worse than a few days without food. So long as we have access to water, I can manage. But the girls...I will need to at least attempt to find a source of food for them.
O Lord, please watch over us in this time of dire need...

Do not give in. Our captors are attempting to use the oldest form of putting down a resistance there is -- divide and conquer. Do not let them succeed. If they do succeed, then we have no chance at successfully deposing them.
This should last no more than a few days. The average human can live without food for approximately three weeks as long as he has a steady supply of water and oxygen. This does not mean that we should not try to find other sources of food, but there is one source of food I will employ every force I have at my disposal to prevent the exploitation of -- other humans. Again, we must not let them sow the seeds of discord among us, and furthermore, it should never reach that level of desperation. I ask that the other adults here also remain vigilant for anyone who should think of stooping that low to alleviate their hunger.
