Year-end Recap
So I feel like doing the year-end post recap thing early... So... THERE! You know how this works --- Take a line from the first entry you posted every month this year. Happy recap! I've done this every year for years (damn, I've had this journal since 2002). I like seeing life and how things change...
Le Recap
January: We were up at 7:30 this morning running around North Lamar getting our engagement photos taken with Whitney. It was a really strange experience for me for some reason.
February: I cannot express what a self-esteem boost it is to have a job.
March: "GOOD NEWS: Clint's one of the top 5 sales reps and thus has officially won a trip to Costa Rica in Dell's annual give people a trip contest!!! WOOO!!"
April:"I ate at the Luby's today with a bunch of old people."
May: "I ate at the Luby's today with a bunch of old people."
June: "I'm in a good place, filled with good, good things. I know that I'm not too great when it comes to detailing the good things though, which is why I'm sitting down and writing this. The good stuff! Let's hear it!"
July: "Friday wikidwayz came over to play arts and crafts with me. There were markers, and food coloring, and liquid latex, and circles, and even a wolf paw."
August: "Just had a fantastic weekend my mom. There is nothing better to renew my outlook on life than time spent with family."
September: "Nothing official. Still need approvals and home checks. And all that other stuff. But still."
October: "What I Bought my Unofficial Dog..."
November: "Life as I know it is going well. It's been three weeks since we first got the Emma Dog and she's been an absolute joy to have."
December: "Life at the moment feels like an intimate game of twists and turns as I search for calm amidst... the calm."
Hot damn, what a crazy, crazy year full of life and changes. I am a lucky gal. I'll probably write something more in-depth later, but this'll do for now.
