Pleasant Pasttime III

The sun by now is peaking in the sky and it is time for us to replenish bodies thoroughly bereft of nutrients from the morning’s activities. Now in my gracious manor I do not believe in having servants at my beck and call, this having been said, I do have a gardener and a very lovely old woman whom I have do my soiled laundry every Thursday. This is the extent of my desire for servants. All of the food is made by me or my lover. Usually me, for I am the one who has attended L’Académie de Cuisine. As fancy as that sounds it is a small culinary college outside of Washington D.C. Not very exciting. It does impress the dinner party guest to find I’m the one who made the five-course meal from scratch. I don’t even enlist the assistance of the servants for this task. Now, for the record creating such a culinary master piece is no small feat, never the less I accomplish this task in no time flat with the assistance of my beautiful lover. She has no classical training in the culinary arts and still manages to provide me with vital assistance. Due to the strain on ourselves and the amount of time it consumes to make such meals we do not often entertain guests. Rather we stick to simple, yet elegant meals for ourselves.
