Hello friends! *HUGS* We finally did it...we're married!!!! The wedding was so incredibly beautiful. Everyone that we wanted to have there thankfully came. For those who didn't or couldn't show up, that's okay. On our one year anniversary we're going to have a HUGE party and renew our vows and we'll have plenty of time to make sure that everyone is coming. :)
So, we got to the park early to meet with the pastor. We did a short run through of things to make sure it was just the way we had planned and also to be sure that Damion could hear everything over the rushing waterfall behind us. :) It was such a beautiful location! Aside from my shoes totally KILLING my feet, the ceremony was smooth and flawless. Well, maybe not completely flawless. I could hardly say my vows because of so many happy tears. I thought it was a little embarassing, but I told him what my heart was holding for him and then the pastor cut me off because I was crying like a newborn! LOL! It was funny though, and I knew everyone could tell it was just because I was so happy. Damion read me the most beautiful promises in the world! Oh, and luckily, we avoided the rain! It was raining right before we got there and then it stopped...and then the most romantic thing happened! Right as the pastor said, "you may kiss the bride"...it started to sprinkle!!!!! AH! EEEEK! We got to the reception just in time for the rain to fully start. They say that rain is a lucky thing on your wedding day. It was perfect. The reception went really well - and smooth. I kept trying to do things but people were telling me to sit down. Everyone was a great big help and made the day a HUGE success!
I'm sorry for those who couldn't be there - but like I said earlier, there's always next year. :) OH! And we had the most amazing wedding night. All of my coworkers pitched in for a raelly pretty card...and for us to have the SUITE for the night! AH! It was awesome. We had a beautiful dinner at the Olive Garden thanks to Damion's aunt and uncle. We even had our first toast there. It was great. We both had this weekend off together and have just spent every moment in eachother's arms. We've been watching movies, going out, playing in the rain, wrestling (hehehehehe) and of course, doing the whole, "is there something I can do for you, Mr. Colson?" and he replies, "yes wifey, let me give you a foot massage!" HEHEHEHEHE!
I'm so happy and incredibly hyper right now. I have some of the pictures up on my Facebook and Myspace, so stop by and check those out. If you don't have those crazy online things, lemme know and I can send them via email or whatever. :)
I LOVE YOU ALL!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Barbara Ann Colson
