It's been a disheartening week for everyone. Even with so many individuals coming in to visit, I am doing my best to accommodate for everyone's needs.
I understand in two days, those who have been patiently waiting to leave the academy will be able to. I guarantee staying with guardians, family or friends during these trying times will help alleviate ones burdens and suffering. I highly recommend taking full advantage of the opportunity if you can.
For those less fortunate, or perfectly content to remain, I'll be in my office if you need anything.

Professor Zechs Merquise was someone who encouraged me when I was a student here. He was a motivational force to the student body and I am grateful for the times he assisted me.
It's strange... human emotions. I believe I was in shock for the first two days. It was hard to concentrate on my research. Even my response time to verbal conversation seem delayed. Professor Crane asked if I needed someone to confine in. I can't say he is the first person I would turn to.
The events of the attack at the Ministry were as much a blur for myself as they were for some of the students. To be placed into a situation like that was most vexing. I tried to guide the students to safety, but all of the chaos interfered with what could have been an easy escape.
I was fortunate to have found Minato during my search for an exit. He was slightly injured, but it luckily wasn't anything serious enough to warrant a hospital visit. He seemed most distressed about finding Yoite. I can understand why his mind was in such disarray.
The amount of Death Eaters seemed doubled in size, perhaps triple since the incident I read about last winter break. They certainly did their best to massacre anyone unfortunate enough to step into their path. Apart of me wonders if the Professor stayed behind because he had an inkling of what was to come.

Things that were once easy to understand are becoming complicated. Even the lines that were blurred as starting to resurface once more. To what side of the fence does he fall most prominently on? Does his alter motives include eradicating me as well? Was this apart of the plan, or a happy coincidence? I don't have enough evidence to formulate a proper conclusion.
It's been almost a year since I've last stepped foot into the Ministry of Magic. A lot hasn't changed since that time. Everything looked perfectly in place, just as they resided in my memories. Things might have turned out differently if he never came into the picture.
