Which is first? 753 or 4? Why? Bonus points for answering why I chose these numbers.

4 of course. Assuming that you start counting at some traditional place like 0 or 1 that is. If you start counting at, say, 13, then 753 will most definitely come first, and 4 will follow after you moebius around every existing integer.

maybe.

as to why you chose those? since i don't know this obliviously means we need to talk more often. cuz i thought i knew all there was to know. ;-)

753 comes first, because by the traditional timeline, everything B.C. goes from highest to lowest. Ergo - 753 B.C. to 4 B.C.

In 753 B.C., Alcmaeon, King of Athens, died after a reign of 4 years.

This is wrong, but it's my best guess.
