Summary: Hyunseung found something by the street and he wanted to keep it.
Author Notes: This was spurn from nowhere, and it's fluffier than bunnies. It might rot your teeth, well, that's in my opinion. >>
He stared at the little creature in front of him, mewing pitifully as the pouring rain drenched the young kitten wet. Hyunseung bit his lips, kneeling down to take a good look at the small kit. It was barely bigger than his hand, and there was no other cats around to take care of the it.
Hyunseung picked up the small orange tabby carefully by its nape, cradling it in his arms and wrapped his slightly soaked scarf around the kitten to provide it some warmth, it was better than nothing, right? He himself was soaked due to the rain, but he couldn't bear to see the cute kitten getting sick, it was too young, it might actually die if it get sick so he rather let himself get more drenched rather to hurt the kitten.
"Poor thing, your mother had abandon you, huh?"
Beautiful innocent golden orbs stared up at the singer as the kitten mewed softly, nuzzling its fur against the man who had rescued it from the wet rain. Hyunseung's heart pratically melted at the adorable sight, he couldn't just leave a defenseless kitten out on the street, can he? That would be inhumane of him to do that. He smiled at the young kitten, holding it closer to his chest as he started walking towards their apartment.
"Don't worry, I'll take care of you instead."
He made his way to the apartment, standing outside the door, pondering whether should he go in. Junhyung should be in there, and he wasn't sure what would his reaction be when he see the kitten. It wasn't his apartment alone after all, it belonged to the two of them.
They wanted some privacy to their ownselves, and the other members needed their time to spend time as couples with each other too, so all of them moved out into small apartments. Hyunseung withh Junhyung, Doojoon with Yoseob, Kikwang with Dongwoon. It was the perfect arrangement, they all had time with their beloved one, and the best thing? The apartments are just beside each other's.
The kitten mewed again, shivering against the wet scarf. It tried to snuggle closer to Hyunseung, gaining as much body heat as possible. Hyunseung sighed, hopefully his lover would not be in there, then maybe he had a chance of hiding the kitten before Junhyung find out.
He unlocked the door quietly, taking off his shoes and turned, only to see his lover coming out of their bedroom, hair ruffled and half-naked, his well-toned muscles shown to the whole world to see. Okay, maybe just for him to see.
"Seungie?"
Junhyung yawned, rubbing his tired eyes before noticing his lover was drenched from head to toes.
"Why are you drenched?! You'll get a cold if you don't change out of those clothes!"
He rushed to his lover's side only to hear a soft mewing sound, his eyes immediately went down to the bundle Hyunseung was holding. Bits of orange fur could be seen poking out of the dark green scarf, and the bundle was shivering. Junhyung stared at Hyunseung, an eyebrow was raised as he questioned Hyunseung.
"Seungie. What's that?"
Hyunseung sighed and revealed the kitten hidden in the bundle, holding the precious little thing close to him, slender fingers patting down the fur.
"I've found it outside on the street, and it was raining and it was drenched so I thought I bring it home..."
Junhyung frowned, dark eyes watching the kitten nuzzled against the fingers as he said.
"But Seungie, you know we can't keep a pet.. We won't have the time to take care of it."
The moment Junhyung said that, he knew that it was a grave mistake. His lover stood in front of him, rainwater dripping down his black hair and down the side of his face, sticking out his bottom lip in a cute pout.
"But Junnie!! Look at it! It's a defenseless little kitten! We can't just leave it out in the cold!"
He whined as he hold out the kitten, and Junhyung mentally slapped himself. It's getting worse. Hyunseung was giving him the adorable doe eyes, and the kitten isn't helping it. The big golden orbs is just as cute, and the way the kitten twitched its nose, it's far too adorable.
"But Seungie, we can't take care of it.."
"I don't care! I'll take care of it myself! Come on! Pleaseeeeee??"
Junhyung sighed, he can never say no to that girlish whine when it's combined with the doe eyes and cute pout.
"Fine. We can keep him."
Hyunseung smiled brightly, kissing Junhyung on the lips briefly, before holding the kitten high up in the air.
"Yay! You're mine now!"
Junhyung smiled at his boyfriend's cute squeal, before reaching up to pat the kitten's head.
"Welcome to the family, I guess~"
