From the Vault - You and Me

I've already said that At the Beginning is my favorite of the Shep/Weir vids I've made. This one is my least favorite. Ironically, it's the one that's garnered the most attention. You and Me is a beautiful song. I made this vid just before it really exploded on the charts, back when I thought I was the only one who really knew and loved it. I think the popularity of the song was the reason for the popularity of the vid. The reason I don't like the edit is because... well, it's sloppy. Even with only Season One clips to play with, I could have taken a lot more time with it and mixed it up more. It's very heavy on Hide and Seek clips, made painfully obvious by Rodney wearing the Ancient shield device in the background of every other shot. Still, it was a very early vid, and I hadn't acquired the pickiness and patience that I've acquired from more experience. (As far as the pickiness goes, I think this is as much a bad thing as it is a good - lol).

Nevertheless, this vid is part of my history. So... here she be.
