So today when we came home we noticed a pretty impressive-looking gash on Toby's neck. It's clearly a bite mark, which only leaves one possible source.
And it means that Lucy is either a Klingon or a vampire.
The bite isn't bad at all. It's just a small, raised scratch, really. But she took so much fur out that it kind of looks scary at first glance.
Notwithstanding this contradictory evidence, the two of them are getting along pretty well these days. The chase each other, they wrestle, they snuggle, and wash each others' faces (which is my personal favorite). My plan to have not-lonely kitties seems to be paying off.
Unfortunately, their favorite place to sleep at night is my bed, which is problematic because it's a twin bed and I am a very tall person. There is just not room. ;-)
