Rainy afternoon.
Today has been pretty relaxing. I woke up at 8:00, which is not really sleeping in, but that's when I woke up. I did get my icky dirty hair washed, dried, and even a little bit curled, and I was out the door just after 10:00 headed for Starbucks. There, I sat for two and a half hours until the writing milestone I've been trying to achieve (for many weeks now) was finally done!!! And that set a very content, relaxed trend for the day. It feels so good to achieve something!
I came home and further continued the trend by making some serious headway on my Chuck vid (only 40 seconds to go-- yay!!). Then I watched the latest episode of Royal Pains (which I'll probably give up watching on a week by week basis if nothing happens with my preferred ship by the end of the current season. I have a feeling it won't). Then I colored a picture in my Tinker Bell coloring book, heated up some chicken, and then just sat staring out the the torrenting rain showers while I ate it.
My friends are picking me up for an outdoor concert of the Cleveland Orchestra in about ten minutes. It's for Disney music, which should be fun, but I'm not feeling super thrilled about the weather. Still, they haven't called me with any naysaying, so I suppose that means they're still planning on dropping by. If things still look dubious when they get here or part way down the road, I may see if I can convince them to stay in for an evening of pizza and Catan, and maybe watch Emma. I'm really in the mood for Emma.
Tomorrow, my plans are (in no particular order), church, nap, grocery shopping, bill paying, laundry, exercising, and vidding. And getting to bed early for a fabulous Monday start to my work week. Oh, and getting some editing done and finally finishing my read-through of melyanna's novel.
