Well, Spring Break is officially behind me. What lie before me are six straight weeks of class: 18 hours of class time, several miles of homework, twenty hours of tutoring, three exams, and one more essay.
Six weeks...
Six.
I can do this.
No sewing, no book editing. There just isn't time, and after six more weeks, I am in the clear anyway.
Last night when I first tried to go to bed, I was having trouble falling asleep at first, so I got up and read the first chapter of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in Spanish. I haven't really tried this since I was first in Chile, and I must say, the semester abroad and all the recent (albeit tedious) reading in Spanish really has helped, because for the first time I could more or less read it like I would read it in English. Obviously it helps that I know exactly what's going on, but I had a great time and it really helped to calm down my overactive brain. I think I'll continue with chapter two tonight. :-)
