Vidder's Notes: So here's the thing. Historically, I make Firefly vids in pairs. Not by design (until now) but that's just the way it's always fallen out. I didn't want to break that tradition this time, so I decided to pull out this old vid bunny and dust it off. Some of you may recall this poll I had a long time ago, listing vid bunnies I'd started but never finished, curious to see which one my flisters would most want me to revisit. "The Fox" tied for first place with another vid.
Anyway, I started it last night and finished it this morning, and I didn't even break a sweat. Granted, it's not a long song, but I can't for the life of me figure out why I had trouble getting it started the last time I tried because it just fell together like white on rice. It's a silly little bluegrass song about a heist: a fox raiding a farmer's goose pen and taking his prize home to his kids. Bluegrass music blends so delightfully with Firefly and I've already done three Nickel Creek Firefly vids before this. I had a blast making this vid and I love the results.
