Chicago's Finest.

First things first.

Happy birthday to Fuyutski

For some reason, I've found myself real interested in the history of New York City, more particularly its skyscrapers. I still think its amazing that the Empire State Building has been the tallest building in the world for about 41 years, tallest freestanding structure for about 23 years until the Ostankino Tower was built in Russia in 1967, and has been designated as one of the seven wonders of the modern world (alongside the Golden Gate Bridge and the notable CN tower in Canada, which took over the record of the tallest freestanding structure form the Ostankino tower in 1975) New York City Is also home to about 5600+ skyscrapers. Thats more than any other state in the US, and more than any other Country in the world. With the addition of the Freedom tower to be built on Ground Zero, Depending on when it is actually finished, We might have the second tallest building in the world, Next To the Burj Dubai (which is just fucking insane being that it hasn't been completed and is expected to rise to about 800meters) or the Second Tallest Building in the United States, depending on when the Chicago Spire is created. (Figures, projections, and current buildings)

Aside from this, as we all know, summer is rolling around the corner. If the past month is any indication of what the summer holds, then its going to be pure awesome. Recently I took a trip out to Illinois, and Stayed in Chicago for about 6 days. For the most part, It reminded me of New york about 10 years ago; of course in comparison to their transportation system, neighborhoods ive visited, and its financial hub (downtown Chicago). Other than that, it was pretty sweet for a city. The people are chill, and theres a diverse selection of foods from The amazing deep dish pizza places around to Sushi and such (kinda like most cities) I Basically relived my College years, being that for a few days, all I did was playing videogames, and watching movies amongst other things. Some interesting things i did during the course of the week: Went to the Zoo With amanda and her friends, ate sushi and went to chinatown, Went to a college party on thursday with Rob and basically cut down about 2 years form my liver, then headed out to Champagne IL, to hang out with Dawn and Liz. Liz wasn't around, so I hung out with Dawn and her friends for a BBQ. Spent the Night there and finally returning back to Chicago, spent some time with my aunt and watched Iron Man with Rob and some of his homies. I plan on going back, for sure. Best Trip i've had in a while.

Then this past wednesday, I attended what happens to be my first real big concert. Lupe Fiasco Live @ Sounds Of Brazil. I got there pretty early and had an awesome view of the stage, and performers. There isn't much I can say about this cause it was so fucking amazing. I took some pictures and video, but I was so into the music, I could hardly concentrate on focusing the camera. Personally I'd have to say I loved the performances for Superstar, High Definition, Kick-Push, and The best of them All, Daydreamin'. If you've heard some of his music and liked it, its well worth the money to see him live in concert. You will not be dissapointed.

Next down the line will be the M.I.A. Concert in june, Then LA in july.

Thats about it for now.
