Chanyeol and Baekhyun were enjoying their free day in the dorm. They just were hanging out together in the living room doing their own work. Chanyeol was feeling uneasy sitting beside Baekhyun. It did not take long before the vocalist noticed that his best friend was fidgeting a little too much as compared to usual. He could not help but to feel a little concern about it.
The older one stopped whatever he was doing and focus all his attention on the younger one, “what’s wrong Yeol?”
It took Chanyeol awhile before he answered, “Baek…I think I am suffering from Basorexia.”
Basorexia…?
Baekhyun gave a bewildered look, what is Basorexia? Was it some sort of illness that is similar to anorexia? The vocalist was clueless as he had never heard of it before in his entire life. However he knew that no matter what kind of illness it might be, it is definitely something that is unpleasant.
“Are you okay?” The rapper nodded slightly but it did not stop the older one from feeling worried.
Chanyeol had always been the healthiest person among the twelve of them. During the trainee days, he hardly fell sick and was always the one taking care of those that were weaker. The sudden news of him announcing that he was suffering from some sort of illness called Basorexia scares Baekhyun. He was praying hard that it is not some sort of terminal disease that will cause death.
“Baek, I need you to help me.”
Help you?
The vocalist could not help but to think that Chanyeol was going to give him his last words. Basorexia seems to be some sort of deadly illness. Baekhyun did not know what else he could do to comfort him, he could only hold on to Chanyeol’s cold hands and hope he knew that he was not alone.
“How can I help you?” The vocalist asked.
“You are the only one that can cure me.” Chanyeol looked up and stare into Baekhyun’s eyes.
It was not his usual creepy stare but more of a pleading expression. The older one was stunned by his sentence. He had no knowledge in the medical field, how can he help him? Before Baekhyun could clarify his doubts, Chanyeol’s lips met with his.
It was a very short and simple kiss.
However Baekhyun could not react to the situation even after Chanyeol stopped kissing him. His brain seems to malfunction and his mind was completely empty. The rapper realised his action had a great impact on his hyung and there was some serious explaining that needs to be done.
“Erm…Actually Basorexia is the overwhelming desire to kiss. It is really an illness and if I don’t kiss you, I will die of Basorexia.” The younger one explained slowly with a serious, hoping that his best friend will believe him.
Chanyeol knew very well that this was the most horrible excuse he came up with in the 20 years of his life. But he desperately needs a reason, no matter how atrocious it is, to take a step closer to change from their current status of being best friends to lovers.
As he shut his eyes and was prepare to get beaten up by Baekhyun for making up such lame excuse, he felt a pair of soft lips against his instead. Chanyeol opened his eyes to see Baekhyun initiating the kiss.
“Just want to make sure you won’t die of Basorexia.” Baekhyun gave a cheeky reply.
Sehun who was eavesdropping on their conversation had come up with the conclusion that Basorexia was actually a good excuse to use if he wanted to kiss Luhan.
