I just talked to my mom to plan more stuff for our trip. She said my dad was short with me because he was heading out the door to go fishing with my Uncle Tim. Okay. I can buy that. She also said she didn't think he'd mind if I invited more family over for our belated Thanksgiving dinner so that people can meet Kirsten. I just have to e-mail him and arrange things. Okay. I can do that.
How am I feeling? Cautiously Optimistic.
Downside? My brothers boss is being a jackass and is giving him a hard time about taking the time off in the busy closing season (he works in pool maintenance). Oh come on. It's one week-end and he never asks for time off. Give us some good time off vibes everyone!!
