Bittersweet Show
Alright, so I just got back from a show... It was really really good. It was an awesome venue too! Anyway, I went with Lauren... her parents picked me up, and then yeah we went there.... her mom is like a worse version of my mom. She was like "is there gonna be any drugs or alcohol?". Jesus, fuck no, of course not. Even if there was, would I say "yeah there will be!". Shit no. WHatever. So we went in and Not 4 Sale and some other bands that I didn't like at all were playing. So, Lauren and I hung out downstairs. It was a nice little hangout place. Then her nazi parents unexpectedly came at 8 to take her home. What the hell. Jesus Christ. Thanks for that whole hour and a half of hanging out with your daughter for the first time in fucking weeks. Ugh. Then Designed By You came on, and that lightened up my mood a little, because they're pretty good. Then My Friend Ehab came on and rocked the fucking house. It was amazing. They're so fucking awesome!! Good job, dudes!!! Anyway, I was talking to Mark and Danny, and I think we can get Based On a True Story to play with us at Music Maker on the 20th. That'd be awesome, because BOATS is amazing. After that, Nick, Andy, Nahee, and Renee drove me home. It was really nice seeing Andy and Nahee again... it had been so long..... And Renee I just met, and she seemed like a pretty cool chick. We were singing Coheed at the top of our lungs in the car. So yeah, it was a sweet night. However, I wish Lauren's parents wouldn't be so fucking overprotective. They let her go out once a weekend, and sometimes not at all. I don't even know if I'll be able to see her on Valentine's Day for sure at the show. Ugh... Maybe they should lighten up and realize that Lauren isn't about to go get drunk or high, and that not every teenager is a stoner. Ugh. Well, bye bye
