Working and NIN

This morning as my dad tapped on my door in a sad attempt to wake me from slumber, I was caught in one of those continuous dreams. The kind that doesn't end until it gets really good and then poof! you are suddenly wide awake grumbling. It was set in an ocean town, cold and grey. I was overlooking a beach from a small fishing pier when I saw my love walking nervously towards me. More action commences as he gets taken out by a sinister group of people dressed in black and I realize I am chained to the pier. He lies bleeding on the beach and I realize the dream is in greyscale but the blood is vibrant red. I wake up as the realization sinks in around 8am with the words SHIT! on my lips. Yet again, I am terribly late.

I think this dream points out that I watch way too many episodes of Burn Notice. God I love that damn show. It is a funny thing, now that I am living with my folks I have television so I have found myself glued to the TV during several good shows. Gossip Girl on Mondays, 90210 on Tuesdays, Burn Notice on Thursdays, Bill Maher on Fridays and True Blood on Sundays. Nearly a full week of dramas and politics! I would like to point out that I am being responsible for this new addiction. For example, I am only allowed an hour a day on the boob tube and I can't use it as an excuse not to work out. I am enjoying it though. It helps the alone time pass easier. I have to say that I would much rather spend that time with my long lost love, but instead I spend it with hot men and crazy drama or action. It works for now.

I am also trying my hand at knitting a scarf. It rocks so far! Of course it is only about 8 rows in, heh heh.

At work the ladies have made it a personal agenda of theirs to drive me insane by playing b93.1, the sorriest excuse for music around. So today I countered back and am streaming FM 94.9, a San Diego station, off my PC loud enough to drown out the monotony of the continuous playing of MGMT and the katy Perry song. Ah well, at least 94.9 is playing some NIN :)
