bronchitis
I am sitting in the computer lab of the great and mighty Mary Couts Burnett Library, waiting for Lacey or Carrie to get out of class, because mine was cancelled, and as such I have been here for a while. I wish professors would tell you the night before, so you can sleep in, especially when you really need to sleep in, like today. Instead I'm doing the equivalent of being in class, because I'm still awake, and not taking a nap (hence the posting on livejournal).
More exciting news, however. Hopefully, in the fall I will have a position as a Graduate Assistant. This may not seem very exciting, because it's about 20 hours of work each week, and I would really be a glorified gopher, but, I wouldn't have to pay tuition anymore. That is the best news I've had all week. It also helps that my teacher that does mainly grad work likes me, and my old GA from when I took that one class likes me, and is the one that told me about it.
Carrie pointed out that with the money I save I can get a new car. Wheee!
Only an hour left till they get out of class. I could walk home faster, but man, it's sooo rainy.
