I'm in Belarus!!!!
My Dad and I left on the fifth, arrived in Poland on the sixth, and took a train into Belarus on the seventh. We are currently in Pinsk, Belarus where 'our people' come from. Really makes me think about what could be. Everything here is shotty and poorly made, but once the people get to know you they are all increadibly welcoming and hospitable. We'll be leaving and heading back to Poland within a few days. I'm looking forward to the Poland part of the trip with much enthusasim.
Sorry for the mis-spelled words, I don't have a dictionary at my disposal nor the patience to spell check anything on the slow internet-cafe computer. I'll write more later, I'm running up a considerable bill, or at least I think I am. It's hard for me to do the mental math from Rubles into dollars. It's something like 30 Rubles a minute. Meals cost us 40000 Rubles, water 900 rubles. Sooooo much inflation.
