(no subject)
By this time tomorrow, I should be in Dublin.
(Gods willing, since every Israeli I know (and some non-Israelis) who's going to Worldcon has had their flight delayed and some missed their connecting flights because the airport is currently a clusterfuck.)
I've never gone to a con like this before, where so many people I know are going, where I already have a billion social things scheduled in addition to the plain old content like lectures and panels.
I'm... very concerned about my health, since this is the worst physical shape I've basically ever traveled in. And the entire trip will be cold and rainy, which means no ability to wear comfortable shoes, which is how I fucked up my knees in the first place (a week of cold weather abroad).
Anyway, I'm going and I hope to make the best of it. And after worldcon there will be
roga and then
cesy! Let's be hopeful for a change.
(My book is with a few people who've said they'll read it and give me feedback, which feels pretty amazing? Also I've been writing a novel pretty much non-stop since November and suddenly not having that homework constantly in the back of my mind already feels like a vacation lol)
