Beautiful Day
I've been on Spring Break and it's been lots of fun. Stayed out at Shane's from Friday after class until yesterday morning and will be heading back probably tomorrow sometime. We went to the bar called No Frills off of Little Rd. in Arlington and shot some pool. On Saturday we were going to go to see The Violent Femmes but decided to chill around the house instead, and from what I heard they didn't even show. On Sunday, we ventured out to the Church with another couple from Arlington. I'll post a pic of my outfit in a few days, and it was fun. The Pink Pussycat Caberie(or however you spell it) was more laughable than anything else. It was great getting to see some people that I hadn't seen in months, although one person who promised to be there didn't show *glares at unnamed person*.
My cousin Christopher turned 18 on the 6th and he and two friends came down to Dallas so he could get a tatoo, supposedly of Picses or something like that. They are staying in a hotel and it doesn't look like they are going to come visit so I'm just hanging out.
I had last week off from work as well as this week so I decided to get up and go swimming this morning, since I get in free, and I was in the water for nearly an hour. Damn, my legs are sore now. Swimming is one of those activities that you really have to do everyday to stay in shape and taking two weeks off, ouch. I'm improving my butterfly though, sometimes I feel like I look dumb doing it.
I've been productive this week though, yes even staying at the boyfriend's I can get work done. I've finished one art presentation and currently have 3/4 of the other done and both are due next month :). I haven't started Physics yet, but that class is so hard I don't like to work on it by myself because it's difficult if I have questions. A bunch of people in my class, myself included, are almost to the breaking point with our professor and may go make a group complaint.
It's so awesome outside. I'd like to take my dog Toby out for a walk but I have to wait until all the school kids get home so he doesn't try to attack anyone. Oh, an update on the puppy Shane and I got last month: Sushi is doing great, she's using her leg more and her fur is growing back, although she is shedding her undercoat like nobody's business. We are going to try and bathe her this weekend, hopefully she behaves or I might have to get in with her (wearing a bathing suit of course).
