Curse your lousy timing, Mattel!
I went to Toys R Us today to see if there was anything new. They were having a sale - buy two Barbies, get the third free. So I got a fully articulated Skipper, and a 'stunt' Mercy and Faith.
(Mercy and Faith have permanent hairstyles, so if I wanted to show them with their hair down -- say for a bedroom scene -- I'll have to use a different doll)
However, what really ticked me off was a 'Dating Fun Ken' where you could switch between three different outfits . . . and three different plastic wigs! They made a perfectly bald ken! My first thought was: why couldn't they have made these three months ago?! That would have made making Pickles so much easier!
Graaaaaah!
On a personal note, I've been working twelve hour days because they laid someone off at work, which sucks, but I close on my house on Tuesday.
