Corsets.
I'm sure everyone here is thrilled to death to hear me talk about my huge knockers once again, but hey! I may be helping out some younger woman with bodacious ta-tas!
I've had a lot of problems over the years finding bras that fit. They rub, they poke, the straps slip off all the time . . . they are just uncomfortable garments for me. I have callouses on my shoulders from bra straps, I've been rubbed raw and actually started bleeding around the bra band. Of course, going without a bra is even more painful.
Also, there is the little fact that after a D cup, no two manufacturers measure the same way. I've seen my size translate anywhere from a 32 H to a 36 DDD. Since most of them have to be purchased on-line, you can see where this would be a problem. I don't make enough money to drop $60 on an item that might not fit.
This has been a life-long problem.
Even better is that if you try to talk about it, most women get totally bitchy with you, like it's your fault your breasts are bigger than thiers. They're probably a lot taller than me and have never had a seven year old ask if I was a child or a grownup so STFU.
Anyway.
I'd heard that corsets were good for ladies with big chests, but it had been told to me by people selling corsets, so of course I kind of took it with a grain of salt.
Well, I was wanting to wear a corset top to the Dethklok concert in October. I started looking around the internet and found that the good black leather ones were pretty freakin' expensive, so I was like: well, I'll get an inexpensive one first to see if I can stand to wear the thing. It got one off of eBay for $20.
Oh My God.
This thing is awesome. It is beyond awesome! It's corsetastic!
I got one that was full steel boning all the way around, because I know the ones with plastic boning are crap from experience. It said in the instuctions that I should wear it a couple of times before I wore it for real-real because it would stretch out.
Me: Fine! I'll wear it to work! That will break it in!
I wore it to work the first day and it was okay. I took it home, tightened the laces and wore it the second day. I tightened the laces at work, then again when I got home. The third day I didn't have to do anything to it; it was perfect.
Not only did it fully support the twins, it kept my posture impeccable and my back didn't hurt that night. I spend a lot of time at my job bending over, so I have kind of a double-whammy going there.
On the fourth day, I wore a bra again.
I came home with a band area rubbed raw, as per usual.
On the fifth day, I wore the corset again, with plans to attain more and wear them as often as possible.
It's like pantyhose vs. thigh highs and a garter belt: Who decided bras were better than corsets? I demand a re-count!
There's no red marks! I don't hurt! And of course the fact that they can take four inches off of your waist makes no never mind to me >>.
I'm sure everyone believes that last part *cough cough*.
