Sanity, I barely knew ye
I got some time to draw today and started sketching out character designs for 'Out for an Airing'. I was planning on sketching the characters, doing at least a shot of Jack on Chase's lap maybe one of Dry Clean Only and Phooka, and then I'd work on Time and Again.
I got the designs done for Phooka and Matty.
I was surprised how easy it was to get Phooka's human suit right; I myself had described him as looking 'too perfect' so I thought I'd really have trouble getting him to look right. But he jumped right onto the paper. I had to fuss with his hair a little, but I'm pretty pleased with 'human' Phooka.
Kelpie Phooka is another story. I'm still not 100% satisfied with him, but he's okay.
Matty turned out perfect. Again, I fussed with his hair a little, but he just came to life instantly.
The chibi pic at the bottom caused me to lose my mind for most of the afternoon.
Sometime after that, I went insane for a few hours and started doing 'Out for an Airing in a Nutshell' compsed entirely of chibis.
All I can say is, I had no alcohol, I was well rested, I didn't even have much sugar today, so there's no explanation for this other than the slow degredation of my sanity.
I have no excuse.
