... On McDonalds, the evil empire

So I was in Newport the other day, in Wales, and I was waiting for my Uncle in Maccas.
And, although I know it's not really news material, I picked up this brochure "The Simple Facts about our Food".

Reading it, I saw articles which outright said that all Maccas meat in the UK was FROM the UK, nothing was genetically modified, good quality meat, blah blah blah... all that crap that theyre forever being accused of.
So I thought  "This can't be trusted..." and I turned over and read the small print, and here's what it said:

"All information given in this document applies to the UK only and is correct at the time of going to press, but is subject to change without notice. It is not intended to give rise to any legally binding obligation and may not be considered to make any representation on any matter. Some restaurants do not sell all menu items. A menu item may be subject to some variation depending on factors such as the ingredients used, the supplier, the region of the country and the season of the year, therefore, the menu items described in this document may not be identical to the product served in a particular restaurant"

So in other words: All of the stuff that we've just told you in this booklet doesn't have to be true.
SECRETS AND LIES!

Also- I'm well! I'm in London, about to fly out to Madrid tomorrow, and rather excited at the prospect of the sun, and actually being able to wear one of the... uh... 4 or 5 new dresses that I have acquired these past couple of months.
I hope you're all doing well- I'm not hearing from home nearly enough- so please let me know what's going on!! Are you all still alive out there?!
