Hmm. On the one hand, I entirely understand: 100 hours is just too much. Even 70, which is supposed to be more the lower bound of a P3 playthrough, is still super heavy.

But even so, finishing a 100-hour game is not so much a function of available time as it is one of patience/tenacity/what-have-you. These days, quicksaves, town warps, and save-anywhere features are the norm (P3 being no exception; it's super easy to jump back to the save point at the start of the dungeon, and the non-dungeon stretches seldom take more than 15 minutes between saves), so it's rare that you need to spend long periods of time seated in front of the TV to make progress. If you only have half an hour a day to spend playing games, you can still finish a 100-hour game in 200 days!

I guess it depends what's behind "the kind of time" you mention. If it reflects a desire to finish more games, and you have to balance the length of a game vs. the list of games you want to beat in your lifetime, then totally. Or if you have a tendency to get distracted once a game runs beyond Mass Effect length (as was certainly the case with me, pre-Backloggery). But on its own, "clear time" works on a different axis than "time in my day for video gaming".
