I get worse and worse at this.....
So I know its been a really long time. And so much has happened. I'll just give a brief summary. So indoor ended well. WHS is the Chapter I Champions and the Independent Intermediate A Class Silver Medalist. We were only 1 point away from promotion. I am kinda glad we didn't get bumped. One more year in Intermediate A class will be good. I am bringing them back to scholastic next year though. In hindsight I know I never should have left. Oh well.
So I no longer work at the pharmacy, Medicare Part D hit pharmacies really hard b/c they are paying a lot less than other companies, and my bosses decided to be bought out by Acme. I used it as my way to get out of the medical field. I started to work at American Eagle, but then they decided to fuck around with everyone's hours so I started looking for a new job. I now work at Lucky Brand Jeans. They guarantee me hours and they are paying me the same amount that I made at the pharmacy. So thats a plus, as well as the 60% discount. I don't know how long I am going to work there though. I am going to trial judge this year, so I may just judge and use that as my source of income, since its all cash and they don't tax it.
This outdoor will be interesting. WHS is Group 1. We will have to deal with Triton and Highland and everyone else, the plus side is that I have 19 kids in color guard right now. I didn't expect that many, but I will take it, one more to have an even 20 would be great.
Paul and I have been dating for almost 7 months now. I have never felt more for someone than I have with him. He is honestly the first person I have ever been IN LOVE with.
I really miss marching as well. I don't know where I would have marched this season. I really miss Cabs 04 the most. Bucs 06 was great and I love my gold medal, but it didn't have the same feel as Cabs. At Cabs, we were more of a family, Bucs was just, you came to rehearsal and left. I didn't know many ppl. I knew most of the guard, many I knew from indoor and from when we marched in Cabs 04, and the only other ppl I knew were the ones that slept at Missy's house. I don't know, maybe I will next summer.
I really can't wait to graduate either. I will be student teaching next Spring. I don't know where I will be teaching. If I am still with Paul, it will be in Maryland, b/c I won't teach in the state of DE, and NJ is too far of a drive. But he is also looking to get promoted, and right now the openings are in Boston and Atlanta. I do think a change of scenary would be nice. Who knows.
