Got to the conference thingie at about 11. Expo didn't open until 11:30, but we ran into some other DigiPen students outside. Our plans were quite tentative; we didn't set a meeting until 6:30, when the Expo was supposed to close. Many of them wanted to go off by themselves. Understandably; it's much easier to schmooze without other people ( Read more... )

Still regret that I didn't get to go!

When exactly are you coming back to visit? And if I coordinate another trip, when is best to hang with ya!?

I was talking with Mike G. about it, as I had originally been planning to make it down to hang out with you all but was unable to make it this time!

And, oh yeah...I replied to your Secretary post! :)

Miss ya! Enjoy SF for me! I miss it too...

I saw the Secretary reply. Thanks for your contribution. Hopefully we can get some movie talks going on one day.

I miss movie nights...You name it, I'm there! I'll make it a point to write about movies that have moved me, and hope that you may see the posts. :) And likewise, I hope!

For me film is another form of literature, albeit with visual presentation and within the limits of a certain medium.

I had hoped you would have kept talking about it, but I guess that I wrote too much and got carried away.

I realize that my writing is nowhere near as interesting as it could be, and my so-called creativity and eloquent profoundness have taken a dive.

I love to deconstruct movies as much as literary works, but moreso when I feel moved by them or emotionally attached in some way.

Really--I don't want to be an emotional creature anymore, not anywhere else. I'd rather get lost in that medium instead right now.

If I'm online it will just put you through to my VM immediatly. I like gettign messages from people I like coming home and hearing that some one was thinking about me or wanted to talk to me... it's nice.

Yes, but I must be careful. I don't want you getting sick of me too quickly. :)
And even if you don't care about being tired for whatever you have to do the next day (and don't lie, you ALWAYS have something to do), I don't want you to have to suffer through work or whatever tired.

Oh, and, fyi, you can call me anytime too. There's a 95% I will answer (even in the wee hours of the morning) but no garuntee that I'll be able to form much in the way of coherent sentences.
