Me? Nostalgic!?
Finished having my teeth cleaned by a girl that went to my high school (graduated the same year I started, so not like I knew her or anything, but still kinda weird), I walk out, only to run into Jon Mendelson.
For those that don't know (approx. 66% of you), Jon Mendelson is a fellow who went to my school (same year as me too). I wouldn't say we really ever hung out much, and certainly not at all until my senior year, when I started hanging out with people. I don't know if I'd call him a friend, simply from lack of exposure or time spent. But he is a fellow all of us (my friends and I) get along with fabulously at parties and such.
In any event, for some reason, seeing him really made me somewhat wanting of "the old days". Things were simpler then. I wasn't caught up in all the high school drama bullshit, so what few memories I have from high school (not involving school itself, mind you) are memories I might go so far to classify as 'fond'.
Things were, afterall, easier back then. No job (except for the short summer stints), no worries about living expenses, insurance, having to survive. It was a simpler time. And there's nothing wrong with simple.
Good times.
Allright, that's enough of that. Back to resume-work, job searching, apartment hunting. And maybe some video game news reading.
