Background scanning my ass...
So I've been happily Using and developing on my powerbook mac for a year virus and spyware free. Its great. I havn't even used my PC, which used to be my main computer, in fact let kizzy use it. Had it all setup, clean install back in Feb.
Problems even occour even with it being behind my firewall, with XP servicce pack 2 installed and all security patches, windows firewall enabled, Norton Antivirus always up-to-date, Using Firefox as the primary browser and her doing nothing more than simple web-browsing and gmail checking.
With all that I do a current virus scan and spyware checker and find 15 viruses and some 1100 spyware/adware on it.
Gotta love the world of windows. Where do you want to go today?
