So it finally happened. my cat who's had cancer for like 3 months now finally had to be put to sleep this morning. poor kitty :(
In other news, I went to my friend's graduation at ISU on saterday, It was fun. Especially at the closing of the ceremony they played one of the school songs. I was like "where have I herd that song before?" then I started singing allong... "Bruderlich zusammenhalt! Von der Mass bis an die Memel..." almost note for note it was the same exact melody as the German national anthem. Weird, huh?
But the experience did motivate me to keep thinking about Purdue again. I now have a chart on the wall of how much it's going to cost me to finish my degree. Every $25 i put into my money market account, I get to fill in one square of the graph paper. only 1,994 squares to go! he he. Now let's see how much I can get for my house. And I'll have to find out if the national guard or army reserve pays more in college reembursement. :)
