I'm still around
Just had not been posting here very often so please do forgive.
So the job that should have been may not be mine after all because the CFO doesn't think they have the money. Instead it sounds like they may be increasing the supervisor's workload. Brilliant idea. *sighs* And I was so close to getting out of here too. Oh well, time to start looking yet again. meh.
Also, had a very unpleasant run in with my digestive demons this weekend which has carried into today. I am not amused. It looks as though I may need to resort to the chicken soup diet for another day or two in order to give my stomach a rest. Bah! Someone really needs to start working on digestive system transplants. Srsly.
Also, I have been a very naughty podcaster (Oh! Spank me!) because I have not done one in almost 2 months. 2 months of air silence. Not good at all. Time to get those creative synapses firing again and start recording. I cannot honestly tell you what has kept me from podcasting other than sheer distraction and perhaps laziness. OK, well there is also the matter of that pesky burnout issue I am dealing with but we can ignore that for now. At any rate. I need to sit down and brainstorm some ideas for shows so that I don't have to try and come up with things on the fly which is how I was doing it before. Perhaps that is my issue. I usually hate being a planner but in this case it may be necessary.
If anyone out there has any ideas about podcasts that they would like to share with me, please let me know. Muses sometimes come in the most unlikely guises. :)
