First of all, Happy Birthday to Clay! ^_^
Oh my gosh, the concert was AMAZING! Haha, I can't believe that it's actually taken me a few days to write about it, but I've been swamped since the exact second I got home on Tuesday! :/
All of us going to Spamalot next year went together, and we had a blast! I mainly hung out with Morgan and Juliana since we kind of freak out about everything the same way, haha, but we all had an amazing time together.
The format of the show was so great, it was probably the classiest show I've ever seen and the arrangements were gorgeous. <3 I'm absolutely in love with "Welcome to Our World", the song before intermission, it's beautiful! I had never heard it before, but I'm so in love now. Aw, and he looked incredible, I really don't think I've ever seen him look so great! We were really excited that he and the girls were up on the platforms because we were in fifth row and the boom operator might have been in our way if he were directly on the stage the entire time, but the platforms were great! DSIAFCD was unbelieveable, he hit the glory note perfectly and added some really sexy falsetto notes a little after, I loved it! Lol, right before he started it he realized that a lot of people were still kind of reserved about freaking out since it was a church (well, not Morgan, Juliana, or myself, haha), and told us that nobody would get mad at us if we screamed in the church and everyone just exploded! Haha, it was awesome. AIW was the encore, and it was just amazing to hear it live. <3
Aw, and even though none of us have gotten to meet Clay yet, this time we met almost all of Team Clay! We met everyone except Mary, she seemed so busy that we didn't want to bother her, but everyone else was free sometime and they are all SO sweet! We got really cute pics with them, and I got some amazing concert pics too, I'm not finished with all of them so I'll post a link later, but for now I'll post a few under the cut!
I seriously gasped when he came out, partially because it was such a cool surprise that he came up in the middle of the stage (we couldn't see the platform behind Jesse's piano) and partially because he looked so good!
Meeting Team Clay! (Oh my gosh, it feels so weird to post pictures that I'm in because I never like how I look in pics! Eee, but I'm so happy that I met all of them, they're all so nice!)
We met Jesse first, while he was picking up his sheet music after the show. He's so hot in person (well, in clack too)! Hee, we loved him. He was so nice, and made sure that he had enough time to stay out and get pictures with us.
Sean! Oh my gosh, I want to keep him! <3 He's soooo sweet, and so little and cute, haha! When I hugged him I couldn't believe he was so much older than I am, it's crazy! He was so nice and thanked us a million times for coming, eee! He's so cute!
We met Jamie while we were waiting for Jerome, she was so surprised that we were excited to see her, and her accent is probably the cutest one that I've ever heard in my life! She's so cute!
Jerome! I'm so glad I finally got a picture with him, he wanted to take one with me back in Kansas City 05, when he came to see if I loved the tickets he gave me (and of course I did!) but I had camera problems then and have bad luck getting a pic ever since. He wanted to sit on the steps so he wouldn't look so giant next to me, haha. That's Jamie's hand in the background, she was trying to sneak in! ^_^
(Ahh, ignore how badly I look in those because this is after we had been freaking/running everywhere after the show for about half an hour, then outside in the cold for about two hours, haha!) We met Quiana and Angela out at the buses! They're both so beautiful in person, and they came to say hi to everyone and shake hands. Jerome said that Clay was just waving that night, but we decided to wait a few hours to meet people and stuff, it was so much fun! We talked to everyone in the band more and met tons of fans, there were a few people from Denmark there that were so nice!
